Makarand has more than 26 years of experience in the field of textile and yarn business, He has worked with Futura Polyesters Limited, producer of entire range of polyester and Century Enka Limited (Nylon Filament Yam Division), a company specialised in making polyester and nylon yarns. Responsible for marketing/new business development, product development, development of new sectors where customized products can be provided for better profitability to the organization. The major application areas, where new products more introduced were medical textiles, technical textiles, micro denier yams in knitting, tows for flocking. Other stints include working with Indorama Synthetics (I) Limited, Garden Silk Mills Limited, Petrofils Co-op Limited.
